Unconference: Chapter #14

Diversity is a great opportunity: to know, to learn, to grow more.

The Unconference #14 brought this great opportunity to the Unconferencers in an electrifying way!

On October 27, 2017, we hosted the fourteenth Unconference at LinkedIn with Sr Leaders joining us from diverse backgrounds. We discussed ways for ‘Becoming a Great Place for Work’.

At Collaborative Climate, we promote Value of Collaboration at work for Higher Productivity & Engagement, and to Lower Stress & Hostility. The Unconferences are Collaborative and Informal Peer-learning experiences we host with Sr Leaders across domains.

Here’s a glimpse to the Unconference #14:

Collaborating Genders

Collaborating Genders

As per a research by Innovisor, we are at least 40% more likely to collaborate with same gender as ours!

This impacts business growth as it’s unstructured and unfair contribution of knowledge & capabilities.

Here are a few quick tips to create processes that collaborate the genders:

-Buddy Systems by pairing up genders to carry out certain tasks

-Problem Sharing and Finding Solutions forums where one gender only shares and other finds

-Equal pay, not a cliché

-Asking for volunteers for tasks

-Identifying gender-stereotypes/harassments and creating awareness campaigns to abolish that
